Bathala Island Resort, 3 - star resort located in north Ari Atoll, an area in the Maldives famous for its abundant fish life. Bathala Island Resort sits on an approximately 5 hectare of land and is a true natural paradise with green tropical vegetation, aligned with palms, bordered with milky sandy beaches with world class house reef and dive sites at a close proximity to the island. It takes a mere 20 minutes by a scenic seaplane to reach this island or 75 minutes by speedboat.

In our opinion

This is a lovely and charming hotel. The decor is simple but elegant. The rooms are comfortable and stylish and the dining room menu is very imaginative. Breakfast is a lovely fresh array of choice to tempt everyone and dinner is delicious. Staff members were friendly and helpful. We highly recommend staying at Hotel Batalha.

Bathala has a total of 46 rooms; each room is designed to offer natural luxury and satisfying dream of the perfect hideaway. 46 Superior Villas, Scattered around the island and facing the beach. All our rooms include: Four Poster King size Bed or Twin Beds, Air conditioning, hot & Cold water, Fan, Hair Dryer and a Mini Bar.

Facilities

The main Restaurant is an open air restaurant located on the south beachside of the island. Serves buffet style international cuisine. Let your feet sink into the soft sandy floors, sit back and relax , let the culinary team delight you with their mouth-watering dishes of expertise. Main Bar located near the main restaurant for easy access, with a selection of beverages fresh juices as well as an extensive range of wines and cocktails.

Diving At Bathala; Let Werner Lau Diving Team of diving instructors take your breath away through the kaleidoscope under water gardens at Bathala Island Resort. The diving centre offers a complete range of multilingual dive courses including SSI, CMAS & PADI and is able to cater for beginners through to more specialized diving with Nitrox. Other Activities include Volley Ball, Darts, Board Games, Table Tennis, Weekly Bodu Beru, Night Fishing, Snorkelling Excursions, Local Island Visit, Dolphin watch, Sand Bank Excursion and Male shopping.
