Karafuu Hotel is composed of 61 cottages and 31 standard air conditioned rooms. All rooms are built with local sourced materials according to ancient Zanzibar traditions and have Makuti thatched roofs and walls made of coral. All 26 Junior Suites are sea facing and situated under a beautiful palm-grove or on a small hill. They have an entrance through a private garden and feature a veranda with breath-taking views. All 35 Cottages are set in a private garden with a veranda offering stunning views. All cottages are spacious and have mosquito nets, dressing room, bathrooms finished in Carrara marble, ceiling fans, air conditioning, hot & cold running water, hair-dryer, telephone and minibar. The 88 Superior rooms are also built under Makuti thatched roofs and decorated in a traditional Zanzibari style. They all feature a bathroom finished in Carrara marble, balcony, mosquito net, ceiling fan, air conditioning, hot and cold running water, hair-dryer, telephone and minibar.
