Tour Overview

The Cultural Landscapes of Albania & Macedonia is a wonderful tour taking travellers from the capital Tirana, to the historic distrinct of Berat with beautiful buildings of high architectural and historical interest and then to Apollonia with its rich Roman remains. The tour passes through Gjirokaster with its impressive Ottoman-style tower houses with distinctive stone roofs, and then through the Kelcyra gorge to Ohrid in Macedonia and then to Shkoder, Kruje and Durres.

This tour is suitable for most travellers though there are some steps to be climbed, and there is a good standard of facilities throughout.
